IAI is looking for self-motivated, Computer Scientists / Engineers / Developers at all levels (entry, mid and senior) who are interested in working in a highly agile and dynamic R&D, technology transition and product development environment. Candidates will support (and/or lead) the development of research and products in the areas of Big Data, Social media and Text and Network Analytics. US citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for these positions.

JOB DUTIES: Depending on the experience and interest, job duties will include:
- Design and development of the architecture and framework for a cloud-based analytics as a service platform to handle high volume data
- Design, develop, and integrate Web services to support existing production applications
- Design, enhance, and maintain existing software products perform upgrades to existing live production software applications
- Design and implement Graph and NLP algorithms for social media, network and text analytics
- Support monitoring of deployed services and applications
- Support and maintain existing and future database installations
DESIRED SKILLS:
Prior experience with one or more of these technologies is a plus, but not required. Training in these technologies may be provided as needed.
- Cloud, Big data tools and frameworkssuch as Openstack, Hadoop, Solr, Hbase and Spark, Dockers, Ansible
- Frameworks such as Grails, Spring, NGIX, Jetty, Pyramid
- Programming languages/platforms: Java/JDK, Python, HTML5, JavaScript
- Relational database experience (e.g. MySQL / SQL/ Accumulo)
- Configuration Management and Test Tools:Git, JSON, CLI, scripting, ANT/Maven/Ivy, Jenkins, JUnit
- Experience with IIS/ASP.NET, C#, SQL Reporting Services, Tableau
- Operating Systems/Environment Linux, OpenStack, mobile
EDUCATION:
A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required.
